Cam Operated Swing Handles Latches
What you find installed on the inside of an enclosure is equally important as the outward appearance of any latching hardware system. One way to keep the door closed with a swing handle is with a conventional cam-action pawl engaged to the inside panel of the box. Every application has unique requirements, but that does not mean you cannot standardize the hardware used for each job.

SPEP Cam Operated Swing Handles Latches
Sierra Pacific Engineering & Products make this easy to accomplish by offering dozens of high quality zinc plated steel cam accessories for use with our swing handles. Basic single point cams are produced with both inward and outward offsets to accommodate grip ranges between 4mm (0.16â) and 32mm (1.26â) and everything in between. Two-point cam adapters are another option, allowing the use of connecting rods of any length in place of the single point pawl. Need both? We also carry three-point cam adapters in many sizes which combine both styles to allow the use of a central cam to engage on the side and also incorporate rods going up and down.
SPEP also understands that the needs of our customers cannot always be met with standard parts, which is why we also specialize in custom parts. We are the latching hardware experts, and can produce cam accessories to meet any specific requirements for high volume projects.
