COMPLIANCE
WE ARE COMMITTED TO CONDUCTING THE BUSINESS IN AN ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAWS.
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products is committed to conducting its business in an ethical and responsible manner consistent with applicable laws, including California Proposition 65.
In an abundance of caution, SPEP will provide the Proposition 65 warning as required for listed substances The Proposition 65 List | OEHHA, that are an element in an SPEP part. With over 10,000 products in our line, it is not physically or financially possible for us to test each product for Safe Harbor levels, as this would require millions of independent tests.
The warning does not mean that our products will cause any harm. Moreover, a Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements. We believe our products are not harmful when used as designed. We are providing this warning to comply with California law. Details regarding materials and finishes with listed substances can be found in the tables below.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions at Prop65compliance@spep.com. To understand your responsibilities as a Manufacturer or Distributor to maintain warning materials, please visit Frequently Asked Questions for Businesses – Proposition 65 Warnings Website.
