Round Compression Latches
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products manufactures compression latches to fit a range of industrial OEM applications. A compression latch holds a door, panel or cover shut, and at the same time compresses a gasket around the inside of the door to seal out moisture, dirt and dust. For electronic enclosures, the degree of compression required is specified by its NEMA or IP rating.

SPEP Round Compression Latches
Compression latches come in many sizes and styles, but most require very specifically punched cut-outs in the panel for installation. Round compression latches simplify the design process by fitting into a circular hole. These can be easily cut or drilled into any material. These parts also blend aesthetics with functionality by laying flush on the surface. Perfect for applications that require low profile hardware.
Sierra Pacific Engineering & Products has multiple versions of these latches available in different materials, Chrome plated die cast zinc, UV resistant plastic and 304 stainless steel. There are compression and non-compression versions. These parts have a threaded body to fit on nearly any panel and come in non-locking, key-locking, and âdummy latchâ alternatives. All are water resistant. The threaded shafts allow for an adjustable cam grip range and the mounting brackets allow for a wide array of panel thicknesses.
These latches boast simple design, superior performance, and a clean look wherever they are used. SPEP's employee owners are dedicated to serving you with the highest level of quality and service. Contact us at inquire@spep.com today for a quote, sample, and to find out more information.
