SPEP Paddle Door Handles
SPEP paddle handles, also known as paddle latches, feature an inset pan with a flip-out handle for actuating the latching mechanism. Our paddle handles are used in a wide range of applications, from electronic enclosures and crates to truck and trailer applications. SPEP paddle handles are also used in recreational vehicle (RV) manufacturing.
SPEP offers three types of paddle handles, including:
Junior
Our junior-size paddle handles are great for smaller applications. These handles require minimal space for installation and are easy to actuate. Some uses for junior paddle handles include electronic enclosures and crates.
Standard
Standard paddle handles are by far the most common and versatile. SPEP clients use our standard paddle handles on RVs, truck and trailer applications, and more. Some of our paddle handles include a release, which allows the handle to be opened from the inside. This is a great safety feature and is required in select applications.
Two-Point Standard
Two-point standard paddle handles have two points of contact (hence the name), providing a more secure connection. Two-point standard handles are often used on RVs and other recreational or specialty vehicles.
